Context
Southeast Oakville in context
Southeast Oakville is two very different things stitched together by the QEW. South of Lakeshore Road East it is the town's most established residential district, large lots and mature tree canopy running down to the lake. North of it, along Royal Windsor Drive and Winston Churchill Boulevard, it is Oakville's largest continuous block of employment land, including the Ford Motor Company assembly complex.
That second half is where the current planning activity is. The active applications here are almost entirely industrial and commercial: Sherwood Heights Drive, Royal Windsor Drive, Cornwall Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard, with Infrastructure Ontario holding a significant site at 2551 Sherwood Heights Drive.
It is also the part of Oakville most directly exposed to the interim control by-law Council passed in August 2026, which froze applications for data centres and similar high-intensity digital facilities on employment lands across the town for a year while the Town studies how to regulate them.

- Clarkson GO Station, just across Winston Churchill Boulevard, is the nearest GO station to the east.
